Default Correct identification for coil issue

Good Morning! This is Martin in Menifee CA; my car us a 2001 XK8 convertible. Receiving code warnings and getting rough engine problems.
Using an ActronII code reader, showing code of PO354, which is indicated as cylinder 4. I'm concernined with pulling the wrong coil
This issue has come up on the forum several times, but I'm not sure about the correct location of the bad coil. I would appreciate a clear identification of the coil such as left bank (drivers side), number four cylinder next to the fire wall? Thanks for you patience, I know that someone has a perfect description but at 78 I'm worried about
making a obvious mistake. Not as sharp as earlier in life.
Thanks to All,
Martin

In these cars, very often when one coil is bad and causing codes, the others are not far from also failing.

Save yourself the headache and do all 8 coils. Get the Denso coils.

Hi Martin,
#4 is the rearmost cylinder on the RHS.

The way I am able to remember is that the 4.0 engines use Ford's numbering system. 1-4 are front to rear, right side. 5-8 are front to rear, left side.

The newer cars use SAE / ISO cylinder numbering which is also used by OBD II.
