J-Gate shifter gear lights not working Help
J-Gate shifter gear lights not working. None of my gear indicator lights on my shifter work. I replaced the 2 backlight bulbs and they work now but the indicator lights don't work. I see no switches for the shifter to hit to work the lights. Searched the forum with no luck. Any help would be great.
Sorry... 1997 XK8 Convertible;
Also the Blue programing light does not come on to program the remote.
If someone can steer me in the right direction.

The selector lever illumination module is a 'listen-only' node on the CAN bus.
I would read EVERY module on the CAN bus for DTCs.(the network wiring is a series twisted pair connecting the modules)
You can check the continuity of the network with an Ohm Meter to see if you have approximately 60 Ohms on the DLC pins 6 and 14.
Gus will have the electrical guide on his site. (jagrepair.com)
The NETWORKS are towards the end of the document S97_XK8.pdf.

Did That... What should be next test.
WOW I'm lost. I thing this is beyond me unless these are some dummy instructions in how to do this.
