Default Mystery wire, passenger side, rear

I was digging in the rear passenger side looking at the hydraulic hoses and pondering a speaker replacement when I noticed a wire, comes from the rear and stops right before the beam that supports the front passenger seat belt. It stops abruptly in space, but has its own bracket, suggesting it is not a mistake of some sort. Anyone know what this is (thermocouple, something that should be attached to something else, etc)?

Wire that goes nowhere.

Default I have the same loose wire in rear quarter

I have the same. I think it’s for some rear occupancy sensor (maybe security/Airbag related). I did put a multimeter on it.... nothing.

I guess they run the same wire harnesses so without the options, that leaves alot of loose end connectors. I have quite a few under the centre console too.... no phone, no premium amp etc

The multimeter result is interesting. I didn't want to disturb the end, in case it was something crucial I didn't understand. So chalk it up to something I don't have, perhaps.

Is that a thing here? Speed feedback loop on the top?

That is the SLCM receiver antenna for the keyfob transmitter.

Just saw motorcarman's post confirming right after I finally found it on the electrical diagrams with fmertz's guess. Thanks y'all. Curiosity sated, cat not dead.

Fob antenna in upper right hand corner.
