Default No clicking and no dinging sounds

The blinkers all work including the ones on the dash but the relay no longer makes the clicking noise when the turn signal switch is operated.
The other audio fail is that I believe I used to hear dinging when I first turned the key and it was running through the systems check. I have a feeling there is a link here between both things, Any suggestions would be appreciated, is there maybe a common fuse?
Thanks
Alan

Just replace the 64 OHM .5 Watt speaker in the column shroud.

I have a similar problem on my 06STR. I no longer hear any chimes when the door is open with the key in the ignition nor do I hear any chimes for the front parking sensors. Any idea where that speaker is located and how to get to it?

The Jaguar part is expensive but a generic replacement part should be $5 to $8 USD.

I forget the diameter (50 mm?) but I bought 5 for around $30 with shipping.

The signal click speaker is part # LXF2280AA...as shown on the video. It may be a challenge to source online. You might uninstall it from the lower part of the steering column and look for id numbers or specs on it.

Hmmmm so I ordered the part. Driving down the freeway the blinker tick tock started working again and then when I stopped to let my friend out all the other warning sounds worked momentarily As they should and then all failed again. In my experience if a speaker fails it doesn’t really come back so could this be something else? Maybe when I used the ignition key to start the car something got disturbed? Dry joint I suppose is possible. I will replace the speaker now that I bought it and report back.

To me, an intermittently working speaker would be more indicative of a wiring issue....

Yeah so now most of the audible warnings work however not the gear stick warning when an attempt is made to move it without my foot on the brake. Not sure where to check now? This suggests not the speaker.... So now I have a brand new OEM in an unopened box that I don’t need lol.

Update
So the issue is still intermittent however now when I lose the audible warnings powered by the steering column speaker I also lose the backup sensor audible warning which could be dangerous. I think I’m correct that the backup sensor warning is a different speaker. Is there a common connector with these two systems that I could check?

I found a direct fit replacement on ebay and installed it in the steering column today. The size is 66mm. 64 Ohm. .5watts.
