This is a sad day for me as I have decided to sell my XKR (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/p...ations-153465/). My health has been declining for several years and I have not even been able to drive for the past 6 months. A Jaguar needs to run and I want someone who will appreciate this car and treat her like the beautiful lady she is, so I'd like someone from this forum to buy it and have advertised it in the classified section of this forum. A Jaguar like this was always my dream since I was a kid in the 1960s and saw by first E-type. It has been both an honor and a privilege to own and drive this work of art for the last 4 years.

 

Sorry to hear about that. I realize what a change in life that this represents to you. I may not be so far behind you. In my case, it is yet to be determined as I have developed inner ear problems that make me somewhat dizzy at times and get some sort of motion sickness when I drive a car. That kind of takes the fun away from driving my Jag on weekends. I wish you all the best with your health and in being able to sell your Jag to someone who will treat it like the Lady that it is. All my best to you moving forward.

Sorry to hear about your selling the Jag and more so about your health issues. We only met the one time for lunch, but I have followed your upgrade adventures here on the forum. Even discussed some of the work done with motorcarman.

Good luck with the sale. I have lusted after a coupe, so wish I had a few more dollars in the bank to give it another good home.
