Default Which type front shock mount bushing?

Howdy folks:
My foam ones have bit the dust. Having read some past post, I'm puzzled as whether to go urethane instead the foam. Any current experiences or recommendations appreciated. Normally, I would buy urethane, but in this case, I need some convincing one way or the other.
Many thanks.

Dr. D, I have replaced standard ones with no problem, but let me say that looking at the mess the old ones were in coming out has me rethinking what the next one should be. I really believe the urethane will stand up much longer and the ones I took out were left too long, this resulted in the overall destruction of the polymer sponge. My only concern was the difference in the lower shock bushing taking too much of a beating with the different conpounds. I tried to find a bushing from Energy Suspensions with no luck, so until I find one, I still will go with standard.
I am still looking and have a old shock to try for a fitting.

I decided to play it safe this time and go with the foam. Maybe next time around we both will have a more decisive selection to choose from.
Thanks

I hav eyet to tak emy suspension apart but it there a reason you couldnt use a poly material in tere? Is the foam made to squish? I know someone who makes poly bushings and could possibly make molds for these. Im just not 100% sure of the function yet

Not available in poly yet to my knowledge. We have them stocked as per original however...

Upper control arm bushings, consider polyflex as a longer lasting and slightly more controlled, yet stiffer experience. I replaced mine with OEM bushings, didn't notice much difference in handling, particularly tramlining, then a few thousand miles later installed polyflex, made a noticeable difference, yet a very slight trade off to slightly harsher ride, barely noticeable in my opinion. Also, Shocks, or at least check lower shock bushing, at it is commonly worn item. The bushings can be expensive, and difficult to replace. New shocks are only slightly more than the bushings. As it turned out, after removal, I found that one of my shocks would not rebound, yet I beleived they were ok before starting the work. Also, check the steering rack boots while down there to be sure you don't have a torn boot.
