Hi - I need to replace the O-Ring gasket where the reservoir connects to the motor. It's currently leaking and it seems to be the O-Ring gasket. Where can I find one?
You won't get one from Jaguar.
The Hood Lift Pump is sold as an assy.
Individual parts are NSS. (Not Sold or Serviced Separately)
Remove it and 'match-it-up' with an equivalent?
Take the reservoir off…clean everything well to remove all existing oil with a compatible solvent…then, smear a light coating of automotive RTV sealant on the outer surface of the rubber O-ring and reassemble. Should work unless the ring is/was physically damaged. There is really no pressure on the fluid inside at anytime.

Good luck!

Thank you Brian! I will try this!
What product do you recommend that will remove all existing oil?
Sure. I would expect that “brakeclean” type spray should work without harming the plastic/rubber. Though perhaps a safer option would be a solution of “purple-power” or “Simple-green”.
test any hard solvent you may use first on a non-critical surface.
Any hydraulic equipment repair shop or "Rubber Hose & Gasket" type business should be able to match up the O-ring for you.
Alternately, measure the cross-section (C.S.) and internal diameter (I.D.) of your current O-ring and you should be able to order one from an industrial supplier like McMaster-Carr (mcmaster.com) if you can't find one on Amazon. The measurements will probably be metric, so, for example, a 3 mm x 42 mm O-ring has a C.S. of 3 mm and an I.D. of 42 mm. The outside diameter or O.D. is the I.D. plus two times the C.S.
