Default Bluetooth Noise/Issue When Signaling

I have the following issue with the Bluetooth system in my F-Type.

When I have my phone connected to BT and I'm on a call through the BT system/speakers, if I use my signal (turn indicator), the clicking/flashing from the signal causes a REALLY loud noise for the person on the other end of the line who I am talking to.

Anyone experience anything like this ?

Thanks.

Not sure if there is one or if the phone mic is being used.

It's not bluetooth noise, it's your "TICK TOCK" of the turn signal. Everyone I talk to tell me it's loud as hell. The microphone must be near the blinker. I've actually stopped using my turn signal when I'm on the phone... (not often)

and, from what I understand the 2016's are much louder than the 2014... I'm not sure where the 2015 falls... somewhere they must have changed some harware to make the blinker louder.

Don't use your turn signal when you're on the phone

Weird. It's virtually silent in the '14.

Somewhere on the forum that was mentioned before, and an owner of a 2016 claimed the 2014 owner must have been deaf.

While the blinker itself is not SUPER loud, it appears that way to the person on the other end of a phone call. I think the microphone must be very near the blinker and is picked up very clearly on phone calls.

Better yet, don't use your phone when you are driving.

Same issue here - not too loud in the car but deafens whoever you're speaking with. Mine a '16.

One more issue is if you're in Sports mode (95% for me) and you make or receive a call, the call takes precedence over the display so you can't see which gear you're in.

Doesn't detract from this being the way coolest car I have ever owned.

Definitely an issue in 2014. I suspect that wind noise will be more of an issue when I lose the top.

I tend to not use the phone when I'm driving, but I enjoy driving so much and do it so often sometimes a call from my son or mother just need to be answered...

I was surprised that handsfree works Ok with the top down, with windows up and the air deflector installed.

The "get off your phone" comments aren't so helpful, considering it is a feature that is literally built into the car for the owner to use.

I am of the mindset that there's no reason to be on the phone. I'm basically just happy podcast listener, and actually made the main focus of my home screen the "screen off" button.
Having it turned off also helps with the lightwash for night vision, so there's that.

That being said, sometimes I want to ask my wife if I can pick up something, or just not avoid a call that will end up a long voicemail and a callback, etc.

That being said, I cannot believe this hasn't been resolved on the 2019s forward.

Super annoying, and bumping this thread to see if there is a potential fix that is not "don't use your phone" or "don't use the signal"??
