I've purchased an '05 Jaguar S-Type VDP with 72K miles, which will soon (I hope) be in transit from Montana to my home in Kirkland, WA. It's my first Jaguar. It will be parked in the garage next to my '83 Alfa Romeo Spider. :-)

This has been a leap of faith as I bought the car w/o ever seeing it in person. If it arrives (ha ha), then it becomes my 3x / week ride to work.

There's a well known fella nearby who goes by the name "Jag John" - I plan to have him inspect it straightaway. Can't wait to drive it.

I grew up in Montana, and it's the Last place on Earth I would expect to find anything but Ford or Chevy! (Oh wait. This is a Forduar.)

Congratulations on your new S-type Jaguar. It looks very nice in the photo. I hope it's as nice for real as the picture.

BTW, there are other Jaguars in Montana... Two in my small town of 1,600 souls, my S-type and an XK-8.
