Default New Member Intro

Good Morning,
I tried posting a new member intro yesterday and actually did it in a wordy two part epistle which didn't make it. I live in California. We own a TR3, and an S1 OTS E Type. I am heavily involved with and need advice for an XK-140 Drop Head owned by my late friend Andy Leavitt. Andy's wife wants to get it back to use as a daily driver as she used to do. She also owns an E Type which Andy was restoring when he was struck with Parkinsons. Karen is doing most of the work and I am assisting her. Most of my questions currently revolve around sources for brake arts (especially rubber) for the 140. Thank You MichaelPMoore

Welcome.

I used XK Unlimited in San Louis Obispo for odd parts for the S Type and the MK10 a very long time ago, and they were able to supply ex stock that I remember.

Welcome to the forum Michael,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

If you take too long composing an epistle, the forum link can time out and it is lost. For lengthy posts, I usually write them offline in Wordpad (and text editor will do) and then paste the completed text into a forum post.

Follow Norri's link in post #3 to the XK120/140/150 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link US Western - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
