Water in engine
Sooo, my man thought he was being a dear, and power washed the engine...(!OMG!)
So what is the best way to remove the water as the poor spark pluges are drowning.
I could only easily get to #4, the rest are a pain. Am I taking the engine apart??

OOPS.
I have used a large syringe for the local "experts" here that have done the same.
Not sure how easy teh plugs are on an X Type, never looked.
Out in the hot sun for a day or 2 with the bonnet up, and the car angled facing said sun, usually does the rest just fine.

My first thoughts are:
1. it must be a Jaguar but what model is this?
2. what is the climate in your location?
If the temperature is hot enough, it will dry out standing outside with the bonnet open. If not, a compressed air line is the quickest way to blow off excess water and force it out of the plug wells but not everyone has a compressor. A leaf blower or even a hair drier will do the job but much more slowly.
The problem with power washing an engine is not just the plugs. There's a lot of sensitive electronic equipment in the engine compartment and none of it takes kindly to a bath! If the ECM (Engine Conrol Module) has been soaked you could be in for an expensive replacement but you'll be very unlucky if this has happened. Usually it's nothing more than an inconvenience getting everything dried out.

Some guys simply do Not consider collateral damage when they do stuff! I'm sorry he drowned you car. Hopefully he's learned not to do that again.

Bonnet up and hot Sun, first and in search of lonnng syringe. Appreciate the comments and welcome...I'll post a pic at some point...I'm so hoping not to dismantle it..(engine)...it's squished in there tight.
...and I thought changing a starter on an M3 was bad enough.
