Unhappy 50 51 Error codes after doing by mistake the S/W Update

Hi Guys ! Yesterday i had a devil in me and started getting in the "secreat" menu in the Jaguar S Type 3.0 2002, i played a bit in it and after 2 minutes, i was insipired to press the S/W Update button, i regreat this choice so much, and after 1 minute the Touchscreen went black and the little LCD under the touchscreen started to flash EXT 50 and 51. And the main probleme that p****s me now is that i can't use the touchscreen, the Climate Control is on and outside is very hot it's running on defrost and it's a pain in the a**.

I tried the following things:

1) Remove the battery positive head for 60 seconds
2) Remove the Battery negative head for 1 hour (read somewhere)
3) Trying to repress the Phone + Menu buttons for 5 seconds ( Didn't work nothing happend)

Can someone please help me, don't want to pay a visit to Jaguar Dealer because heard someone payed 2000$ for the fix

You deleted the software.

There's a thread about how you can sometimes create a disk to restore it somewhere or buying a newer map disk may work.

Some people have had to replace the nav unit.

I uploaded HUNDREDS of TSBs and other info to the large file areas of different model sections.

Here are some TSBs for BOTH X200 and X202. I don't know which one you have.
2002 MY seems to be different US vs Europe.

I checked the attached files you put, none of these don't seem to relate to my probleme, i tested the Nav Unit in the Disp. Inspection Menu by using the following keys ( NAV & Right Temp. UP, NAV, Right Temp. Up, NAV, Right Temp . UP, Audio, Audio, Audio) i tested the Hard Keys and Soft Keys, they all worked, the main probleme that i have now is that the screen is still Blank and the Climate is ON with Defrost and i can't turn it off and outside is 30C and it's littearly impossible to stay in car. I tried everything even disconecting the battery i will try to disconect the Navigation Switch and Display Module, but i don't think they are the fault, it's more on the Firmware.
The parts were ok checked cables but i am kinda afraid to open thoose. :P

Edit: the Jag is the X202

You need the firmware from (the right kind of) DVD or a new nav.

The main probleme that i have now, is that there is a Jaguar Land Rover dealer in my Town, but the main thing is can they fix it? If not they will send me to another Town with a Jaguar Service which is 168 KM from my current position but with the Defrost on it will be hard to drive :P any idea if i can turn or switch off the climate for a temporal time?

I'd study the electrical guide to figure it out.

Glad you were able to get the system running, but moving forward, remember if it is not broken, do not attempt to fix it! Just leave well enough alone.
