Default AJ34S Piston Oil Squirters

I need to find a source for a couple of AJ34S Piston Oil Squirters.
I've searched the internet and as far as I can tell, they are nowhere to be found.

I am fairly confident that they have been installed in all AJ34 Supercharged engines between 2003 and 2009.

Anyone know of a source? Who makes them? P/N?

Thanks.

Joe

Hi Joe;
I have been looking for them for several years and Jaguar does not list them seperately except for the diesel. Those Diesel oil squirters look different so they won't work.

Have you tried used? Maybe someone with another blown up engine?

In case you've not tried this, the techs sometimes find a part by figuring which other jags share the engine (or whichever subsystem) and trying the parts info for those cars. I suppose XKR, XJR.

The parts catalog does not seem to distinguish between supercharged and N/A for the oil system but if the nozzles are part of what they call the upper oil pan or sump assembly, then that might not be a *terrible* way to get them.

It seems that the whole assembly is in the 4-$500 range. Just a thought...

I believe that the squirters are considered part of the block. Perhaps one reason for a different P/N between NA and SC block? NA blocks don't have the drillings for the squirters, SC blocks are drilled and tapped and fitted with the squirters.

I checked the Land Rover parts catalogue just in case they listed them separately, no luck...

Quick update. They might be listed for the parts of the 4.2 SC in the XJ because they're in its Technical Guide (the one for 2004 MY - ref JJM18152140 - about p47 aka p57).

It calls them Piston cooling jets.
