Fuel Pump Removal S-Type
Lokked in the FAQ, but did not see it. Does anyone have suggestion on how to remove the big blue plastic flange securing the fuel pump to the tank. It appears that it should unscrew like a cap, but I can't seem to get enough leverage to make it budge. I am afraid I will break it if I force too much. Has anyone devised a tool of sorts to do this?
Thanks-

To loosen, tap counter clockwise. I mark the ring and body before loosening it. This way when you tap it to tighten (which you will have to) simply match up marks.
You should also change rubber gasket as a precaution. I used a block of wood/mallet. Homemade tool helpful. SPX tool = $200++
Flat blade screwdriver can break tabs.
Just my $0.02
