Second time i dgt well but... nothing happen. The cod number remain on display , no sounds advise, no other display msg. ... i wait about 15 min. ON with the radio and nothing happen, mean...the radio don´t work.
Please could someone tell me what is need to do?
( Jaguar sType 3L 6v Executive 2002)
Thank you all
My board:
Are you sure your code is correct? You might want to call Jag with your VIN and they will give you the code again. If I were you I would disconnect the battery and try it over again. Making sure you enter the correct code. Who knows you might have the number put the incorrect number in by mistake. Sometimes our mind says one thing and out fingers do another. If your radio is bad then you will have to buy a new one on Ebay for about 125-200 and replace it. Make sure the seller kept the VIN number.
HELLO PPL! 01.04.2015 case solved!
IF do you have the right code key radio and if you make some mistakes like me in dgt insert code you will have this ,essage on radio screen :
CODE - - - - 4 ( or 1,2...10 ...) dosen´t matter this · display.
So , if you insert wrong , it must to wait till system will ask you
(i.e. : )
CODE - - -- 5 (or other number dosen¨t matter!)
insert your code example code 7133
below you have 1-6 keys (ref. my radio model see above pics)
key 1 press seven times to mark 7
key 2 press one times to mark 1
key 3 press 3 times to mark 3
key 4 press 3 times to mark 3
Now press key 5 ...and Radio will be ON.
In my experience i do not need to reset system from bat. -unplug
I have a problem that I hope someone will help me with.
I bought an older jaguar. The security code was lost before I bought it. Someone has tried and the radio is no stating "locked 10". I have the code now but does anyone know how to clear the display for me to enter it?
My experience with S-Type 2006 after a short or long disconnection of the battery is :
- I have to re-enter radio code no matter how long is the disconnection
- the FF + A.MEM + PTY key combination works just fine for me and bypass the code
- My local French Jaguar dealer in Dijon was able to provide radio code easily with a proof of ownership
- There is a side effect on window closing, the trick here (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...esolved-82236/) works fine.
