Yes. Use the search function. It has been talked about dozens of times.

It's all here in the search button!

Default Nissan?

Only on the Asian delivery S-Type, I think? I knew that Japan delivered SatNavs for both S and X are incompatible with rest of the world despite still being Denso manufacture, but Nissan auto eh? Well well ...

I gather that the 2012 official updates also detail a re-flash for Canadian autoboxes that use maple syrup? Perhaps Mikey can advise.

What ??? It's not true? Are you sure? I read all about it on the internet ...

A somewhat confused,
Ken

I'm confused too. This is the second time in as many weeks that somebody asked about Nissan transmissions in an S-type. (?)

The rumour about maple syrup is almost true, but it's actually 'synthetic' maple syrup. This marvellous new development is infinitely superior to the old fashioned natural stuff that leaks out of trees for a few days each spring and requires hours of boiling. I've heard that if we also use it as motor fuel the US will want us to blend it with up to 10% ethanol to make the naive greenies happy. I say they should just hug the trees a little harder, this would provide as much fuel as anyone could possibly need.

Yeh, but I forget sometimes, and now is one of them, as I am messing with NO heat on both the S Types, and as you know, FUN is being had. The Black is now working fine, and the Silver has NO power to the tap connector centre terminal, and that is going to be interesting, even for me.

Anyway, as Sol once said "Oils Aint Oils", HAHAHA.

FYI - Trans fluid specs are way different between the Ford 5R55N Trans and ZF 6 speed Trans. I believe my Indy Trans shop used Mercon V Trans fluid (5R55N - 00 S Type) and I used Lifeguard 6 in my ZF Trans (04 XJ8)
