Long time no post.
Here in the mid-Atlantic area it has been raining for what seems like non stop for a week now. Today I noticed a surprise swimming pool in the passenger side rear seat foot well. Completely SOAKED! All other foot wells are dry. Its just the passenger side rear. When I had my previous car(03 X-Type) I thought I remembered reading about the sunroof drains clogging causing this to happen, so the first thing I did was open up the sunroof to take a look. I see two drains at the front of the sunroof. I assume there are two more in the back? I'm not really sure what I am looking at, or if the sunroof drain is even the issue. I did some searching but came up dry(no pun intended )
The right rear moonroof drain in my former 2005 S-Type tended to clog every five or six years. Whenever this happened, rainwater would accumulate in the right rear floorboard. Blowing the right rear moonroof drain hose clear with compressed air always resolved the issue....
If none of those links are useful, search by entering "Sunroof drain" in the keyword field - there are 3 pages - that's just a five-minute copy|paste of a few that looked like they may be helpful. Failing that, try "Moonroof drain" or possibly "footwell."

Check the rear moon roof drains as advised. Be aware that the hose "might" have come off the nipple to. This was common on the Lincoln LS and I had to fix mine twice because of it. You can check by slightly dropping the headliner and putting your hand up to touch the corners of the moon roof pan.
Sometimes is easiest to blow them out with compressed air.

In order to get to the rear sunroof drains you must tilt the moonroof, is this correct? I have the same problem in my jaguar s type 2003 3.0, only the water is in the rear driverside footwell. I don't want to blow anything off, what is the correct psi? I'm a female and a newbie, but I have done some successful fixes!!! I have faith in myself. Do I have to move anything to get to them?
Welcome to the forum, Jazzi. I don't think tilting will get you the access that you need. Here's some pics of my experience, maybe it will help? https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...6/#post1868988
As to the correct psi, Michael Keaton perhaps said it best in Mr. Mom,
On mine it wasn't dirt that clogged as much as is was poor original assembly with a pinch on the drain tube on one side. Look for my post.
I'll add that on mine the cause was in the trunk on the LH side and not anywhere near the sunroof. you have to pull the trunk's interior carpeting aside to get at it which is just ahead of the DVD and NAV players. So there are multiple possibilities with this issue. Search using user handle and trunk, drain or whatever. I posted photos.
Thank you everyone! My sunroof is broken now, it had broken tracks and I have to figure out what parts I need. I asked a guy to poke some wire into the sunroof drain tubes, but he decided to do his own thing, and when I got back my entire sunroof glass was out and more broken tracks. This happened before I posted here, because my first goal is to clear the tubes and find where the tubes are either clogged or pinched. Then I have to figure out what parts are needed to fix the sunroof, and I am doing it myself! Does anyone know if there are interchangeable parts for the 2003 jaguar s type v6 3.0 sunroof? Lincoln LS, Jaguar X type?
The pre-2003 S-Types had more shared parts with the Lincoln LS. My guess is that the 2003-and-newer S-Types have a different moonroof assembly from the LS. Good luck with your repairs....
Could you please post another pic of the parts for the sunroof? I couldn't really see the print, even though I clicked on the pics, I could only see two of the pictures clearly, and unfortunately not the one with the parts on it. Thank you sooooo much, you are a life saver!
That's from the JEPC, which you can download from here in the forum. I have a nice capture software on my work computer, unfortunately, JEPC is loaded on my home computer. So that one was produced by taking a picture of the screen. I'll try a redo for you, but you'll find JEPC to be an excellent tool - apart from it being somewhat cantankerous to copy/paste from.
What is last 6 of your VIN?
