Default Catalytic Converter Replacment

I live in Glen Mills PA. I have a 2007 X-Type throwing a code for P043. Bank 2 cat needs replaced. I have new ones in a box. I looked at them....Have no real desire to replace them myself.
Anyone know of a good shop within a few hours for me to drop it off at? Otherwise, might sell it. I have a new BMW and my wife hates this car so I just keep it for hauling stuff.

TIA.

I assume its a petrol V6? if its the 2.5 or 3.0 you have to remove the transfer box to get the cat out, Ive done two since xmas the first took me 6 days the second two days. allow at least a days labour if you take it to a garage.

Thanks, I should have specified. Yeah the 3.0

It looked like a pain. I'm on an apt until I find a house. No trans removals. Was hoping for a $500ish job. Guess it's more like $1000. Maybe high end for a 3-4k car... bummer.

Internet gold. I did try the cat cleaner trick. Code went away for two tanks of gas. I'll try the spacer.

I peeked underneath this weekend. The front bank already had this trick done. Back bank has not. Looks like I can access through the wheel well. I'll give it a whirl after the 4th of July weekend.

Car does run great so I don't suspect an actual clogged cat. Ran like a top going ~800 miles. Just need to cat code to go away for a state inspection.
