Default Jaguar x-type 19" rims

Hi, its been a while since I've been here but had a couple of problems with the transmission of my jag, but finally got it running again.

If any of you could give me a little bit of help with the rim selection for the x as it is quite difficult to find any that fit, i found a really nice set of rims that would love to have they are Mania Savoy 19" but i can't seem to find any information besides installing spacers, which by the way have no idea how they work.

thank you very much in advance

Nice looking rims on the silver X! I have 25mm spacers on my rear wheels, and I'm about to put 20mm spacers on the front. I got mine from H&R. For the rears I had to roll the fenders out because the tires were rubbing and getting torn up.

Not sure if I'll need to roll the front.

I know they look awesome im leaning towards that look for my simple jag i see you you put 20" your cars is simply impressive im a bit jealous

Do you think it would have any problems with the 19x8.5?

Also what tyre size are you using?

Use a 235/35/19 tire. A 225/35/19 would be ideal but they're damn near impossible to find and they are a freaking rubber band. For little to no fender work for fitment on a 8.5" width don't go more aggressive than a 40mm offset. The front will require a roll but it's very easy in the front, the rear is the real pig.

265/35/18 tire on a 9.5" width and a 38mm offset. Rather aggressive and LOTS of work to fit but worth every spark.

X-typeMentality, would you recommend the same spacers for front and rear? I thought maybe the front should be a little smaller, but maybe not.

Glad to hear that rolling the front is easier than rolling the rear fenders. I've done the rears. I just moved, gotta find my heat gun and fender roller!

Btw, those pics of your Jag are sick. What's the red head light glow? I like that!

I would say do the same size spacer in the front too but that's just me man if you like the slight staggered look then do a smaller one

The red glow is demon eyes (small leds) behind the factory low beam projector lens and in the retrofitted high beam projector lens.

Thank you, btw, I love the way my car is looking and performing right now.

Your x is awesome especially the blacked out headlight, im thinking of doing that to mine but it has blue hid, i wonder if it would look any good, well back to the subject found out the specs of the rims are:

bolt pattern: 5x120
hub bore: 72.6
offset: 37/33
rim width: 8.5
diameter: 19

found out that the bolt pattern is different, do you have any experience with adapters?

i also noticed you have some sort of a rear diffuser where you get that from?

Thanks man.

With the different offsets I would assume they are staggered widths. 37 and 33 are both already pretty aggressive. Adding a 19mm-25mm adapter is going to put you at an 8-12mm offset and thay is WAY low unless you're doing tons of cutting.

I built my headlights and the diffuser myself. I have a blueish HID (6000k) as well but you don't run the demon eyes while the headlights are on, that would be pointless. If you're interested in having me build you a set to your specs get at me.

Seems like you might have to shop for some different wheels...

Tons of cutting means exactly what it sounds like lol I had to cut out the entire lip and used a roller to pull and flare the new lip. Seperated the inner and outer panels in the rear, cut relief cuts in the inner fender so I could hammer it out to meet the new shape and flare of the well. It's not that pretty but I don't care, it works and I'm running 265s...function over form all day... I'll be cutting way more out for the flares. I don't have any close up shots of the diffuser but it's a pretty generic design. I'll try to get some pictures of it sometime.

Do an 8 or 8.5 inch width with a 38-40mm offset and you will be happy. Use a 225 or 235 series tire.
