@JSR That carbon fiber intake pipe looks absolutely fantastic. Did you make the pipe yourself? How can I get one? Cash waiting.

Yes. I got lean codes with my original open-air adapter tubes (the MAF sensor sat too proud/high), and I'm aware that others did, as well. I could've gotten them coded out, which is a whole other can of worms, but I bought Mina Gallery adapter tubes for a great price ($60, I think), instead, and have had zero issues since. I'm in my swimming pool, so hard to elaborate, but I can add additional details later. If I'd know that Mina had them when I started down the open intake path, it would've saved me a lot of time/money. Bottom line - just order the Mina adapter tubes and call it a day.

I've gotten codes on mine as well but only when I've had to disconnect the sensors, easy fix to clear the codes and after a couple drive cycles it's back to normal and no more codes

Here is my setup, home made, made only for the purpose of hearing the blower and not caring about how it looks as i do not go to any shows, do not drive with my front hood open or show off my car. It's made out of 3/16" aluminum sheet metal and attached using plastic screw rivets and one plastic mount from the air box on the bottom rail. So far, they sound amazing when my exhaust cut outs are closed or partially open. At OPEN exhaust, i can still hear the blower and the best part is, this cost me about $50 to make. I will eventually make the shields out of 1/8" aluminum and cover them with heat resistant flex rubber coating.

You can also see how the cut outs work in my Episode 4 video:

Don't mind the coolant filter wedged in there with my old sock, it's cleaning out the 'stop leak' crap that some idiot put in before i bought it stationary from IAA auction from Kalifornia..
