Default Need x308 xj8 steering rack transducer

Hi, my 2002 x308 is in need of a “steering rack transducer” also known as variable assist power steering solenoid. Can anyone help me to find one? Only one I see is in the UK and they will not ship to the USA. Thank you in advance.

I believe it’s part number ZF 7039-442-214 it is variable assist power steering solenoid.-also known the steering rack transducer. According to the dealer this part does not have a Jaguar part number. Thanks again!

You should go by the Jaguar part number. LNE2100AA (the one shown on the provided Ebay link) is correct for your 2002 car because it is for use on VIN 853936 (~1999) and higher.

But when given the link "tinyurl.com/msmw3bxx" (which shows the part on the pic below), VDP P said "This is the part I need- thank you!". Perhaps this needs to be clarified.

What is the problem with your car? Does it behave like there is no power steering? It was the control module in my case.
I seem to recall you can measure between the pins on the part on the steering rack though I don't recall what it should read on the meter.

Yes the solenoid was tested with an ohms meter and was out of spec, thus sending incorrect pressure to the pump/rack

Did you find that part you need? I have a wrecked 1999 XJ8 that may have one that is OK. I'll send it to you if you want it.
