Default @#&ing LED bulbs

Good thing I bought a 2quart sized can of beer today.

Doing an LED conversion on interior/exterior lights, one mistaken order at a time, because the supplier can't possibly list anything properly on their website. Can someone with a clue please confirm that:

https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...rofit-car/197/

Is in fact the correct wedge type bulb to go in the OEM large/green gauge cluster plastic sockets? (not warning lights) I'd rather not have to do a 3rd order.
I'll also post pictures of my LED reverse lights they are such an improvement!

Default if it's any help

I used these. if your 'green lens' is good they work fine and just fit (in my '87). The bulb number is 194 but watch out for different bulbs with the same number. i can get you an amazon.ca link if you're keen..

Can you send the link? Rather that then another US order now that the border is closed can't zip down for a domestic parcel pickup.

I know there's lots of different quality in LED bulbs, but is there something special about those Philips bulbs? At $34 for two, they seem incredibly expensive. I thought T10 LEDs started from about £1 each?

Cheers

No idea. I know they work, that's about all I cared about. I've had them in for 2 years now without issue. My thought was that if i never had to pull the dash apart again they were cheap!

Yes, most of their stuff has fit so far but the gauge cluster is swing and a miss every time.

4 bulbs in the main cluster. Easy? Well it's not horrendous but a very gentle approach is the safest because breaking the traces on the electrical would be a serious pain. As with a lot of XJ-S stuff, patience is the key. While you're in there you'll likely want to clean up ground connections etc., and make sure gauges are all good. For me, once was enough so spending on what is hopefully a quality LED bulb was a no brainer.

Add a second ground wire if going through the headache of taking out the cluster. Your gauges will thank you.
