Default To Buy or Not to Buy Rouge Collection XJS

Happy Memorial Day. Loving my '89 XJS convertible, put the hood down, leaving it that way. Wired the fan together at the thermo switch, I can't stand seeing the needle on the gauge climb. Anyway, there is a "90 Rouge XJS for sale near me. I found they only made around 250 in '89-'91. Wow. Are they worth anything? Sometimes low production means no one wanted them in the first place. This one has 63K miles, peeling paint in places. Owner wanted $9000 for about 6 months, now I see he's down to $7000 or BO.

It all depends on condition. Personally, I would only buy an XJS that still has everything working. I would pay more for an XJS in good working order because its all about condition for me.

I would think that a limited Rouge XJS would be selling for a much higher price then the one you are looking at. It must have some major issues for it not too be sold... Tread carefully!

Good point, Vee, how can you tell if it is an actual Rouge? The only thing I see is the badge on the trunk, and, the red and cream colors. Why isn't the car from Washington a Rouge?

The "Rouge" is on the Williamsport, PA craigslist. Is it real?

I'm just making fun of the fact that he keeps reporting the car as a Rogue not Rouge collection.

With that kind of knowledge, I doubt the car has had any extensive services done. I guess that's why it's been for sale for so long.
