1990, is yours inside the engine bay, or outside with a filler tube?

The remote reservoir, part number JLM10664, shows discontinued...and not many Google hits. The engine bay style, RTC3009, seems easier to find. Coventry West, Welsh, Motorcars LTD, Jaguar Heaven and other Jag suppliers often sell used parts so hope is not lost. Plus, never forget our friend David at Everyday XJ

Mine is inside engine bay. My 30 year old container has turned brittle, would not any used container be in same shape.

The could be. A reservoir is just a container with a pump. There are loads of aftermarket ones available. Also plenty of oEm ones arein top condition, never fear. if you post a photo, I am sure an OEM one in decent condition will be found.

I tried to take it out and in doing so it broke into several pieces.
Reminds me of Chinese hard plastic after several months.

I have one from the '88 convertible I am taking apart. Good condition with cap.

$20 plus shipping (USPS or UPS/FedEx - your choice) and 3.3% Paypal. PM me if interested.

Word to the wise...anything made of plastic that sits in an engine is brittle junk after 20 years. Especially if car is in Arizona (personal experience). Buy new, OEM or aftermarket!

I think I still have mine from my 94 parts car.
The only thing I wouldn't guarantee are the rubber parts.
Let me know if you think it might work for your 90.
Can you take a pic of yours so I can compare?

They made a change when they went to ABS. The washer bottle was hidden in the fender at some point. Let's double check before proceeding.

If someone want OEM all I can do is wish them good luck.

Thx.

Those containers are made from polypropylene and last longer than dirt.
In about thirty years I have seen only one cracked, and that was due to freezing.
The owner thought plain water would save them money.
Frozen water was the result of saving a dollar.

Why not buy aftermarket and put it somewhere out of sight?

I want one to fit in where the coolant overflow is in the fender rear cavity...need the front cavities open for my eventual long term dream of twin turbo intercoolers lol. Get me some F type front vents to breath.

Most of it is hidden behind the front radiator support.
Aftermarket will never last as long as an original.

First time I went to put washer fluid in i was about 3 litres in and then heard the washer fluid hitting the ground. Probably cracked from being outside sitting. Either way just gonna replace it with something. Not like I'll be using washer fluid when im out. Just a date night ride lol.
