Here is my copy of the paper TSB from 10/97. I should convert it to .pdf but it is a WORD document from a few decades ago.
If you have a modern GDO, you likely have ROLLING CODE transmitters.
If the GDO in your car has RED indicators, you have the older NON- Rolling code opener and there is NOTHING that will make it work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have AMBER indicators, then you have the 'rolling-code' GDO and it should work!!!!!!!!
You have no idea how many arguments I've had with customers about this back in the late 1990s/early 2000s.

It suggests it is the rolling code type, so the later Jaguar Homelink should work.

It's has been awhile since I programed in my Garage Door Opener but I remember something about setting everything up and then getting out of the Car and climbing up and pushing a button up by the electrical system of the Door Opener...Apparently, that set the rolling thing they were talking about....buy mine is a 2005 and probably has that rolling code are whatever!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
It was something I always wanted to get around to but never found the time.
It was just pages from a flatbed scanner back in the late 1990s.

I tried off and on for about a year and could not get Garage Door Opener to work. Did a little research and found this. https://www.chamberlain.com/homelink-rptr/p/HOMELINKRP
I bought the Compatibility Bridge and now my Garage Door Opener in my XK8 works.

Been a while since I set one up, but you have to hold the outer two buttons until it starts blinking (fast?) then press the "program" button on the garage door opener in your garage, then you have to go back into the car, be quick because typically it's only 30 seconds you have, then you press and hold the homelink button in the car at the same time as the button on the remote that came with your garage door opener.
This is more or less the same for all vehicles. If your Homelink is programmed already you need to reset it.
