Kitty went to the Vet today
Yes, they will resolve the hard starting issue also....after I crawled underneath and scoped out the job IF its the fuel pump..I decided that it wasn't in my best interest to do it myself. Especially when I read another users experience where he had 3 or 4 fuel pumps replaced. He's going to give her a complete check up including engine and trans oil change.

Reliability
There's lot's to be said about reliability.....can't really enjoy a vehicle if you're uncertain about it getting you where you want to go.....Zen and the Art of Jaguar Maintenance. This shop charges $95.00/hour which is at least half of what the Jag dealer charges. Local shops charge $85.00/hr and quoted about the same price for a fuel pump change. Although I enjoy working on my vehicles, I work 10-12 hrs a day and just don't have time to do the maintenance. AND when I am off of work I want to be able to drive her not work on her. Thanks for your support !!!!!

Kitty not back yet......
Well, I was hoping to get kitty back today but it didn't happen.....
so I decided to let them keep it longer and replace the hydraulic hoses. They said the fuel pump housing was cracked. Which verifies the feeling I got on the trip home when I hit the Ice patch pot hole at 70 mph. It rattled my teeth I hit it so hard and I thought oh sh I hope I didn't screw any thing up......so here's how it adds up:
-fuel pump replaced
-tranny flushed
-engine oil changed
-drivers srs fixed and headrest repaired
-hoses replaced
-firmware updated
-full check up and inspection
=$3200 including tax

At least your flatbed driver didn't crunch your front end. When my fuel pump went, they sent an"expert" driver out to haul it and even though I warned my front body kit was too low too pull up the bed without more wood, he swore it would be fine, even as I yelled STOP while I watched the chain crush my spoiler. And now they refuse to pay for damage!!
