My gf drove our 2002 XKR Vert to visit her mother over the weekend. Her mother fell in love the car, and now she wants one. She will probably want a 2002 - 2004 convertible XK8, fairly low miles. She doesn’t care about it being an R. We bought ours one year ago with 51,xxx miles for right at $16,000. So, that is her general target.

I recall there being a mention of a guy on this forum who does a lot of Jag wholesaling, but I don't recall his name. Any help?

Jon89, she is 200 miles away, so I can only get sucked in so much.

If my XKR is a guide, then she will have very few problems. I've changed the oil, replaced a thermostat, replaced a battery, and had the 60,000 mile service done by my mechanic. That is about the same amount of work I've had to do on my 2010 Jeep. The difference is, while I like my Jeep (I've had about 6 of them), I LOVE my Jag.

I know where there is a 2000 XK8 convertible in the Charleston SC area - carnival red/tan interior w 79452 on clock - tires had a lot of tread left, looked to be in excellent shape, did not test drive or test top - it did start easily and with no abnormal noises. It is on a used car lot - just showed up this past weekend so don't know much more - i did take a pic for someone else but they didn't like the color combo. PM if interested

I like in West Ashley and looking for a XK* coupe, but might settle for a convertible. Where did you see the red rag top?

I have a 2003 XKR with 46000 miles on it. Black on black. I`ve had it for 3 years and have done the following:
New roof latch actuator
Coliflower braided roof hose line installed
Pressure relief valve on conv top pump.
New spark plugs
new main and supercharger belts
20 inch BBS wheels with new Hankook ventus v12 tires
I`d be willing to sell but want around 20k
