Default Looking for any and all help and info

My name is Matt. I'm live in Salt Lake City Utah. I ended up at this forum in search of some help. I know someone who made the mistake of paying a person up from a sizeable amount of money to change the paint color of an already restored 1959 MK1. Well the guy completely took the car apart inside and out. Took the doors off, hood and trunk as well. Then he bailed with the money. So I was asked if I could paint the car and reassemble the car. I have painted a few cars and trucks in my day so that will be the easy part. Though I'm fairly mechanically inclined most of my work has been on Chevy classics. But since I did not disassemble this car Its been difficult figureing it out because nothing was sorted, labeled or anything. I hope to find some answers here.

Welcome to the forum Matt,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

That can be a difficult enough job when everything is bagged and tagged. The graphics in the Parts Catalogue are going to be useful to you for identification.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mki-mkii-s-type-240-340-daimler-61/ to the MKi/MK2 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
