I recently came across this Instruction Manual for the WDS-JLR software at the link below. I tried zipping the file but its size still exceeded the limit for an attachment to a post, so I would recommend downloading it and saving it to your computer now, since links like this don't always last forever:

The manual is dated 02/01/2012, so it may discuss features that are not included in the older software versions some of us are using, but it ought to be instructive nonetheless.

It's possible the same manual is somewhere on the forum, but I couldn't find it either by using the search function or looking through the X350 'HOW TO' quick links and the forum Download Library. Can you provide a direct link?

In the Jaguar Forums File Download Area, Folder Index of the General Tech Help thread of the General Jaguar Forums, I found a manual for WDS, dated June/July 2000:

JLR WDS Manual

Is that the one you're thinking of? I couldn't find anything for JLR SDD, but it wouldn't have been difficult to overlook if it's there.

That WDS manual is not easy to find, and it doesn't come up if you search for "WDS" plus either "Manual" or "Instruction." I realize now that the forum search function doesn't seem to bring up any of those large download files, so maybe that's a shortcoming that could be corrected in the future.
