We all thank you for your work in trying to save us a large amount of time and money.
If this will as a whole, (TPS and connector), work, surely we all need to put one on the shelf before things disappear.
I did notice the Ebay add said no longer available and there was a problem with someone suing, lets hope that's not going to happen. What about all the parts for MG and Triumphs being reproduced, the courts couldn't handle the suits.
Just thankful you are on to something,, even the plug is a big plus.
Have a good Holiday and don't worry about all of us setting here waiting to see if it all works!!LOL

lol well you cant sue a guy because a Jaguar guy decided to use a toyota tps connector LOL, and neither will the tps law suit go through, because the origin is outside the USA, so we lack jurisdiction here lol.

But hey, everyone is closed, i cant seem to find that security torx for my tps removal, but at least we know that connector fits and is higher quality than stock.

Good find, these will also fit the X-Type, S-Type, X350 and prob the XF & XK that use the Denso TPS. Gonna buy a couple for my own stock.

at the risk of sounding lazy, uninformed or just a bit dense - is this for diagnostics or is it a part replacement and if the latter, is this part a common failure? Any background on this or a link to post that describes the issue would be appreciated.
thanks Tim

Hardmat, What if I said all of the above, Yes. Get you readings before any trouble. The clips are a know loose fit and I think there is several threads on the TPS connector being the cause of codes.
aode06 keeps us going on many code errors and all the thanks goes to him.

It fits because its the same connector manufacturer, and there are numbers on the connectors that if you go to toyota they can sell you the connector since toyota supplies connectors to the dealer network and jaguar does not. Something ive bitched about for years

Good info! Just ordered one for spare. Mine looks fine. The other throttle body pigtail (the 2 wire one) is the one that disintegrated.,..

DON'T WORRY

If your two wire is disintegrated, simply remove the pins from the connectors or destroy them, solder and heatshrink these two guys in or a different universal two wire pigtail, male and female, then plug together : ),these can carry up to 18volts!!! and others even more, so don't worry.

you can get em at radioshack or any hobby store or online for under $10

It took me forever to find the right label and replacement for that. Found it on rock auto for $27 plus shipping. Air intake/charge temperature sensor connector
