Stability control. Do you get any other faults?

First place to check is your battery.

Yes. Gear box fault. New battery always on a tender. Been having no starting problems. Checked all connections in the trunk. All tight.

Does your window position memory ever fail? Meaning do your windows ever fail to go back up after you close the car door? Usually this is the first sign of battery problems followed by DSC and ABS failure. The car may start with no problems.

Never any window problems unless I do a hard reset which I have to do EVERYTIME after the no start problem. When I say no start I don't mean turns over I mean everything acts dead. Clicking noise in trunk. Dash light flashing dimly. I can tell it's going to happen when I hear a fast clicking noise in the dash near the fuse box.

Check your ground points first, start from the battery and work forwards.

Make sure you wire brush the inside of your battery terminals. I have seen it on a few cars where they may look clean but there is a film that will build up and can cause exactly what your car is doing.
