So, somewhere on this post there is a photo of an XK8 engine that has been removed and all of the timing chain tensioners are in plain view. I've searched for about 45 minutes to find the photo and I give up. I can't for the life of me find it. Can someone point me in the direction of the post with the photo? It's pretty much a straight on photo.

Not the needed picture, but thank you for the attempt. The picture I'm searching for is fairly recent, shows the engine removed from the car and the water pump and covers removed, exposing the timing chains/upper & lower tensioners. Full on photo of a stripped down engine front end, but with the chains/tensioners in place.

Thank you the link, but alas, it's not it. The one I'm searching for is angled in such a way that you can see the tops of all four chains. Same view, just angled differently.

You could try an advanced search, enter some key words such as tensioners or engine swap, or something else you think may have been in a post, then restrict the search results to the XK8/KXR forum, and finally sort the results by date - if you beleive it was a recent post as you say, it may narrow the threads enough to find it.
